With a medium to high dry matter content (17–20%), RGT 1505BV has high yield potential, supporting milk production, body condition score, and overall stock performance through autumn and winter. Its above-ground, uniform bulb size make it well suited to intensive grazing systems, helping to reduce wastage and simplify management.
Good leaf retention and quality, shown throughout trials, contribute to overall productivity through improved photosynthesis and recovery after dry periods. The leaf also provides a valuable source of protein, making up nearly a quarter of the total yield.
