Fortify seed treatments use advanced polymer technologies. By combining systemic and non-systemic chemicals, Fortify seed treatments provide targeted protection. Non-systemic components shield seeds in the soil, while systemic components are absorbed by germinating seedlings, offering up to 42 days of protection.
In cases of high pest pressure at sowing, additional protection may be needed. A pre-sowing assessment is essential. Be especially vigilant in direct drilled situations, where plant material carryover can enable pest transfer. Crop history is also crucial, as some pests readily move between crops, such as from maize to grass.
